The Chairman’s Lodge is a response to a challenging, undulating site within Capital Smart City—where constraints of topography were reinterpreted as opportunities for spatial innovation. Perched on a natural depression yet elevated in vantage, the design leverages the site’s unique U-shaped configuration to craft an experiential arrival sequence that unfolds unexpectedly.
Approached at road level, the residence reveals itself through a rooftop arrival court that functions as both drop-off and garage, immediately opening up to sweeping, unobstructed views of the city. This elevated plane extends into an outdoor screening deck and a panoramic presentation space, conceived as a viewing gallery where the chairman can engage visitors with the surrounding landscape.
The built form then cascades along the contours of the hillock, organizing itself into distinct zones for executive functions and private living, each equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Fluid, curved geometries define the architectural language, deliberately echoing the natural topography to create a cohesive dialogue between the structure and its terrain
